Pre-Rally Rally Information

The hotel is located a long block South of the East end of the main tourist section of Fredericksburg, making lots of restaurants and shops accessible by foot from your room.

It is alongside Baron’s Creek with nice outdoor ambiance for relaxing, if a tourist district walk isn’t your thing at that moment.

Breakfast: They offer a buffet style breakfast with the basic hot items in addition to the sweets, grains and dairy of a continental breakfast

Rates: Our rooms are market rate with a mix of locations around the property, 2nd floor access is by stairway only.

  • 139$/night for a traditional hotel room facing the parking lot
  • 159$/night for a traditional hotel room facing the pool
  • 189$/night for a suite

Cancellation: Their usual 48 hour cancellation policy applies.

Check in: 13th April after 3PM

Check out: 16th April by 11AM. They’ve made available to us an extension from the usual 11AM checkout time for 30$ to 1PM, beyond 1PM they charge the full nightly room rate.

  • If you wish to check out between 11AM & 1PM on Thursday then when you make your reservation have them note your wish,  and discuss it with them again when you check in. This is all to ensure they have cleaning staff to get the rooms ready for Friday night’s check in just a few hours later.

Routes

Routes are set, subject to modification due to acts of construction or nature.

They all start and end from the host hotel. Businesses on the route that sell liquids, snacks and have toilets will be noted. Some routes will have extremely long sections with no services so a porta-potty will be provided in the midst of that section.

  • Tuesday: 57 miles with 3000 ft of elevation gain to ride the Willow City Loop.
  • Wednesday: 47 miles with 2200 ft of elevation gain with some of my favorite valley roads
  • Thursday: Two options:
    1. 48 mile & 2000 ft of elevation gain to the Bat Tunnel and Alamo Springs Cafe
    2. 56 mile & 2400 ft of elevation gain that adds in Luckenbach
